Maraetai

Vessel Information

Originally, the rescue vessel crew formed the Pohutukawa Sea Rescue Trust and a 6.3 metre Stabicraft was purchased.

In 2004, the 6.3 metre Stabicraft was replaced with an 8.5 metre Rayglass Protector, retaining the name of Maraetai Rescue One. The Protector was in Service until it was replaced by a 9.5 metre Naiad Dedicated Rescue Vessel in August 2011.
