Help us save lives on the water

Our search and rescue crews are volunteers, out there in all kinds of weather, year-round, saving lives on the water. The work they do is almost entirely funded by our amazing donors, like you. 

Each year we need to raise over $30 million for training, rescue gear, medical supplies and support for our volunteers. We just could not do what we do without your ongoing support.

volunteers rescue five from water following capsize
"I wouldn’t have seen my little girl again."

In February 2022, AP and his mates never expected to end up in the water after their vessel capsized off Kawau Island. In a race against time, AP dove under the hull to activate his emergency beacon, alerting Coastguard to the scene. Fortunately, everyone was wearing lifejackets and volunteers could pick them up safely from the water.
