Team Rescue
Monthly Donations

Yes, I want to join the Team!

Our search and rescue crews are volunteers, out there in all kinds of weather, year round, saving lives on the water. The work they do is almost entirely funded by wonderful donors like you.

Each year we need to raise over $11 million for training, rescue gear, medical supplies and support for our volunteers. Your monthly donation means we can continue keeping kiwis safe on the water, now and into the future.

We are proud to work with Cornucopia, a valued supplier that plays a key role in supporting Team Rescue. Cornucopia manages our fundraising calls, connecting with incredible New Zealanders who choose to support our mission of saving lives on the water.

AP
VOLUNTEERS RESCUE FIVE FROM WATER FOLLOWING CAPSIZE
"I wouldn't have seen my little girl again."

In February 2022, AP and his mates never expected to end up in the water after their vessel capsized off Kawau Island. In a race against time, AP dove under the hull to activate his emergency beacon, alerting Coastguard to the scene. Fortunately, everyone was wearing lifejackets and volunteers could pick them up safely from the water.
