How your donation helps
Coastguard is the charity saving lives at sea.
Your support is absolutely vital. Each year we need to raise over $11 million to support our brave volunteers with rescue gear, training, medical supplies and back office support. They risk their lives to save others; it is the least we can do.
We do this by selling tickets in our famous national lotteries, promoting our monthly giving club Team Rescue, running national appeals, and encouraging everyday Kiwis to remember Coastguard in their Will.
You can help each one of our volunteers be the best they can be.
- $25 supplies a set of bandages and a rescue blanket
- $61 provides a pair of hardwearing seaboots for a volunteer
- $149 gives a crew member a lifejacket
