Coastguard Whitianga is responsible for the body of water that stretches from Cape Colville in the North to Boat Harbour in the South. Volunteers and the vessel can also assist Coastguard Tairua-Pauanui when required.

From a total membership of over 900, we have over 20 active crew members forming 4 crews.

Whitianga Coastguard is the second busiest Coastguard unit in the Eastern region.
